Chess Club Puzzles – 11th December

This week there are 4 quick puzzles for Chess club to solve.

To solve each puzzle it’s helpful to remember that a ‘double-attack’ occurs when one piece is attacking two opposing pieces at the same time. When a knight performs a ‘double-attack’ this is known as a ‘fork’. A ‘pin’ occurs when a piece can’t move because moving it would expose the King to check.
